Tribal CTF - Nostalgia

Hi,

For those who do not know my and other Eximion core members' background, here's a little bit of insight.

Tribal CTF was a total conversion for Quake 3 Arena started in 2001, and although never entirely finished, it got stellar reviews and we believe it's still played at lan parties around the world.

Doki, Chris and Rob initiated the project that would inflict heavy stress on their " educational obligations", a period of 3 years of almost daily development in the evenings and weekends. People were (rightly so) awestruck by Doki's stunning maps/levels which are still some of the best today if you ask me. He got industry profesionals' acclaim for them, and Tribal CTF got us good relationships with people from Ritual and Id Software.

One article I could track back (of many many more) :

Alas the days are gone now... Doki still has plans to finish the map/bot pack we promised late 2003 when Tribal CTF died a silent death. We wonder if people would love to see a Tribal CTF revival maybe?

So much for nostalgia and our murky pasts

Chris
